Family Verses
God's design for family — love, honor, and commitment that reflect His covenant love.
And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz. {went: Heb. approached}

Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me {are} for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and {that} they may rob the fatherless!

But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. {them of: Heb. the children of} {they shall lay...: Heb. Behold, God {is} my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH {is} my strength and {my} song; he also is become my salvation.
