Family Verses
God's design for family — love, honor, and commitment that reflect His covenant love.
All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations {shall be} a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah {were} oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour {cities} thereof, saith the LORD; {so} shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.
They shall hold the bow and the lance: they {are} cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, {every one} put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth {any} son of man pass thereby.
The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Zedekiah {was} one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name {was} Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. {began...: Heb. reigned}
And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
