Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. {in him: or, with him}
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. {went up: or, returned}
And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
(For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
Only {they would} that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
And what {is} the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, {his mighty power: Gr. the might of his power}
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in {his} kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
