Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty {is} a fading flower, which {are} on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! {overcome: Heb. broken}

Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD {is} good; for his mercy {endureth} for ever: {and} of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken {it}, and will do {it}.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all {things}: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
This {is} the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
