Peace Verses
The peace that surpasses all understanding — finding God's calm in life's storms.
Their Redeemer {is} strong; the LORD of hosts {is} his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity. {prosperity: Heb. good}
