Peace Verses
The peace that surpasses all understanding — finding God's calm in life's storms.
And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace {be} unto you.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all {men} come to him.
When he had said these words unto them, he abode {still} in Galilee.
The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat {still} in the house.
And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said {it}, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
