Wisdom & Truth Verses

And he said, What cities {are} these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day. {Cabul: that is, displeasing, or, dirty}

And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones. {almug...: also called, algum trees}

The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne {was} round behind: and {there were} stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays. {behind: Heb. on the hinder part thereof} {stays: Heb. hands}

And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

And Ahijah caught the new garment that {was} on him, and rent it {in} twelve pieces:

That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying,

But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.

And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, {Art} thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I {am}.
