And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed {be} the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.
And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.

And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.
And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

Happy {are} thy men, happy {are} these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, {and} that hear thy wisdom.
So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. {sought to: Heb. sought the face of}
And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise. {Nothing: Heb. Not}
