Peace Verses
The peace that surpasses all understanding — finding God's calm in life's storms.
For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. {the wicked: Heb. wickedness}
As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: {but} peace {shall be} upon Israel.
Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, {and} peace upon Israel.
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul {is} even as a weaned child. {myself: Heb. my soul}
Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
This {is} my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
{If} I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. {long...: Heb. years of life}
Her ways {are} ways of pleasantness, and all her paths {are} peace.
But {if} he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
