{Saying}, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
And would not suffer that any man should carry {any} vessel through the temple.
And the scribes and chief priests heard {it}, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love {his} neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings {are here}!
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
After two days was {the feast of} the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put {him} to death.
And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
